Salvation for all mankind became necessary as a result of Adam’s transgression of disobedience in the Garden of Eden.
Consequently to Adam’s sin, the human nature or the “Adamic nature” became substituted with the devil’s nature or the “sin nature”.
This is why everyone born into this world naturally inherit the sin nature and would need to accept God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ to be saved.
What does salvation mean and how to obtain it?
How to Obtain Salvation:
God only made salvation possible and available by Jesus Christ. One might ask, ‘what about the other religions of the world.
Does that mean there is no salvation in their founders or in their religion?’ The answer is an emphatic No!
Eternal life is only possible in salvation.
Do you remember that Pharisee named Nicodemus? He was a ruler of the Jews who came to Jesus by night seeking to know more about the kingdom of God.
The question, what does salvation mean, can also be asked differently like ‘what does being born again mean?’
According to Jesus,
…no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. John 3:5This is what it means to be born again.
Apostle Paul, stressing the need for Christians to preach the gospel, he said:
So if you are truly concerned about the salvation of the souls around you, reach them with the Gospel today.
